The information we are looking will be found in the indices of either the Court of Probate (12 January 1858 to the present), the Prerogative Court of Canterbury (1383 to 1858) or the Court for the Proving of Wills and Granting Administrations (1653 to 1660). You may peruse a copy of the microfiche index to the Wills (held at the Family Records Centre, London) for the years 1858 to 1943 at the library of The Queensland Family History Society, at 42 Bridge Street, Albion, and the library of the Genealogical Society of Queensland, at 763 Stanley Street, Woolloongabba. You may also order the index through your nearest LDS Family History Centre library.   If the details you supply (below) are insufficient or incorrect, a limited search will be conducted on your behalf to to locate this document from the Family Records Centre in London. Please acquaint yourself with our Schedule of Search Fees for this additional service.
